Who are we?

Shotgun Audio is a clandestine recording facility located in the Philadelphia Suburbs. The Studio was designed and built by Thomas Kee and Michael Patrick for Maximum acoustic reliability. No expense was spared to create the optimum environment both acoustically and aesthetically. From the custom built acoustic panels to the closed circuit video between the control room and the studio. Shotgun Audio is a professional yet comfortable environment perfectly suited for creating your next masterpiece.

The heart of the studio is a vintage, early 80s, Neotek Console. Rescued from the Philadelphia Academy of Music and used by the Philadelphia Orchestra throughout the 80s. THIS CONSOLE SOUNDS AMAZING from the filthiest distorted bass lines to the most delicate classical guitars. It adds an undefinable air of class to any sound lucky enough to be run through it. The studio also includes and assortment of high-end outboard gear and a fully stocked microphone cabinet. We are fully equipped to create a salable product for you no matter what style or genre.

Thomas Kee and Michael Patrick are Engineers and Musicians that cut their teeth making electronic music during the late nineties and early 21st century releasing several tracks on international and domestic labels with critical acclaim. Both obsessed with perfection, sonically and musically, they soon outgrew the confines of a pc-based bedroom studio and decided to create a professional studio but in a comfortable non-business oriented environment. They live for making music.
